EU Global Programme: Financial and Payment Policy

Applicable to all One-Week Residency and Startup Accelerator Programs

Overview


The EU Global Residency & Accelerator Programs are designed to provide participants with intensive, high-quality academic, research, entrepreneurial, and professional experiences. The following Financial and Payment Policy governs all such one-week (or equivalent duration) programs, offering flexibility in payment terms and clarity on what is included and excluded in the fees.

Programme Fees


The fees for each program cover participation in a 5-7-day residency or startup accelerator program, including access to all workshops, mentorship, resources, and cultural activities. If opting for multi-week programme, you can multiply the fees. The final fee will vary based on the specific program and location, but below is the general fee structure:

Note:

  1. All prices are exclusive of VAT and local taxes.
  2. For those attending residencies in online mode, please reduce the fees by 50%.

 

Included in the Fee

The program fee covers the following items, which are designed to offer an all-inclusive experience for attendees:

  • Program Sessions: Full access to all workshops, academic seminars, industry panels, and accelerator mentorship sessions.
  • Field Visits & Cultural Activities: Visits to relevant local institutions (e.g., innovation hubs, universities, government agencies), and cultural excursions based on the location.
  • Tools & Resources: Access to relevant AI tools, digital research resources, and program materials designed to enhance your learning experience. Participants must bring in their own laptop for active participation in the workshop.

What Is Not Included in the Fee

While the fee covers most aspects of the residency or accelerator, there are some costs that are not included in the fee:

  • Accommodation: We can recommend accommodation, but it is not included in the fee. If a group want to include accommodation, please make a separate request. 
  • Meals: Meals, snacks, and personal beverages are not included.
  • For a group of booking, Airport pick-up and airport drop is also included. For single bookings, we will share a guide that is feasible for you to reach the venue.
  • International & local Travel: All participants are responsible for their own international travel to and from the program location.
  • Visa Fees: Participants who require a visa to attend the program must cover their visa application costs. This may include the Schengen Visa or other relevant national visas based on the program location. An invitation letter will be provided upon request for visa purposes.
  • It is recommended that participants apply for their visa at least 8 weeks prior to the start of the program.
  • Evening Meals & Personal Expenses: Any meals outside of the provided breakfast and lunch (including evening dinners, snacks, or personal beverages) are at the participant’s own cost.
  • Travel Insurance: Participants are required to purchase their own travel insurance, which should cover health, travel delays, and lost baggage.
  • Personal Materials: Any materials, tools, or software beyond what is provided by the program (e.g., personal books, extra equipment, or supplies) are the responsibility of the participant.

Payment Structure

To accommodate various financial situations, we offer flexible payment terms:
Full Payment
  • Due: 30 days prior to the start of the program.
  • Payment for the full program can be made upfront.
    Installment Payments
  • First Installment (50%): Due upon registration.
  • Second Installment (50%): Due 30 days before the start of the program.
  • Payment Methods

    We provide various secure payment methods to accommodate international participants:
  • Please email at admissions@euglobal.edu.eu after the payment with the subject of the email as “EU Global Residency Programme”. Please fill in the expression of interest form.
  • Payment details can be found at https://www.euglobal.edu.eu/pay/. Please make payment only after your application is accepted and you are issued an offer letter to attend our residency programme.
  • Invoice: Participants can request an official invoice for payment from their company, institution, or sponsorship.
  • Cancellation & Refund Policy

    We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Please review our cancellation and refund policy carefully:
    • Cancellation 30+ Days Before Start Date: Full refund minus a Euro 150 administrative fee.
    • Cancellation 15–30 Days Before Start Date: 50% refund.
    • Cancellation Less Than 15 Days Before Start Date: No refund.
    • Programme Cancellation by Organizer: If the program is canceled due to unforeseen events (e.g., force majeure), a full refund will be issued to all participants.

    Scholarships & Funding

  • ● To maintain the quality of the programme, we have to charge fees. Special requests may only be considered for group booking of 20+ student groups.
  • Additional Costs

    • Local Transportation: Any transport is the responsibility of the participant.
    • Personal Expenses: Any additional costs for personal leisure activities, souvenirs, or evening meals are not covered under the program fee.

    Confirmation & Programme Access

    Upon receipt of full or partial payment, participants will receive:
  • Confirmation Email: Including registration details and payment receipt.
  • Pre-Arrival Package: Program itinerary, accommodation details, and guidelines for travel.
  • Access to Pre-Program Materials: Relevant reading and preparation materials provided 2 weeks before the program begins.
  • Financial Policy Transparency

    Visa & Travel Information (For Non-EU Participants)

  • International participants may require a visa to attend the program in the host country.
  • We provide an invitation letter to assist with the visa application process, if needed.
  • Participants should ensure that they meet all visa requirements and have the necessary documentation well before the program begins.
